10 PODCASTS TO LISTEN TO DURING YOUR CLOSET CLEAR-OUT
Extra long and deep conversations on style that will inspire you and your wardrobe.
Here’s a simple fact about me: I love organization. There’s nothing that calms me down more than a clean and tidy apartment .. or wardrobe.
However, I don’t like the process.
So I have to trick myself into it. I usually do it with a promising reward after, like a coffee walk or a delivery from my favorite food place. Plus, I have to make the process itself as enjoyable as it can be. I do this with the help of music … or podcasts.
So here are my ten longer go-to podcasts episodes on personal style, perfect motivation to clean out your closet and make room for better style.
I only recently discovered Harper’s Bazaar had a podcast. Lauren Santo Domingo’s street style is to die for, and the way she talks about covering up not having your sh* together with clothes is great.
Jenna Lyons needs no explanation - please take note on what she says about cut and fit here. Do yourself a favor and look at the other episodes of The Good Buy.
From Jenna Lyons to her successor at J.Crew, Olympia Gayot: If you don’t know her Instagram account, please go and check this out and then listen to this conversation with Liv Perez.
Another woman who needs no introduction: Tibi’s Amy Smilovic. I inhale every piece of content about her online.
I have been recommending ‘Fashion Neurosis’ by Bella Freud a lot in my Sunday Updates and the conversations with JW Anderson, Kate Moss and Trinny Woodall are my favorite.
I’ve linked this in my Sunday Update before - I love Lu Hough’s style and Charlotte Collins also has a great presence in front of a camera. They just have a deep interest in fashion and style and are always asking the right questions.
I soak up Allison Bornstein’s content like a sponge, this is an extra-interesting episode with Whitney Port.
This Tibi Style Class episode is representative of all Style Class episodes. Please just binge all six seasons, your wardrobe will thank you later.

Fashion People with Lauren Sherman! She gets some really interesting fashion industry guests and journalists.
I love this concept of pairing some media reccs with a bit of a boring life admin task. I finally got round to the Bella Freud podcast and wow I loved the Trinny episode. Off to binge the rest now!
