STYLE NOTES ON: ANOUK YVE
I have analyzed eleven looks from Anouk Yves' Instagram feed and it turned into a style master class for minimal styling and summer dressing. So read and save this post now or regret it later.
Anouk Yve has been on my radar for as long as I can remember to be using Instagram. She is a content creator from the Netherlands, has her own ceramics studio and a belt line and the most beautiful blonde curly hair.
Her minimal style has always inspired me. So when

And then I knew: Her style has become different from what I envision for my own wardrobe. She was my biggest inspiration when I went to law school - her very classic, streamlined looks have resonated with me a hundred percent. Now, with a few other influences around me, my style has become a bit more relaxed.
So while not all of her outfits seem to be working for me, I decided to analyze eleven of Anouk’s looks and see why I liked them. And I hadn’t expected this to be this helpful for my own wardrobe.
So here’s what I discovered about my own style by deciding which looks I loved and then analyzing them:
I would always prefer a structured bag over a slouchy bag because my looks often consists of flowy materials and oversized silhouettes.
Repeating elements is something I also do (color and materials).
When going for oversized on oversized silhouettes, I prefer heavy material and high-quality pieces.
Well, ehm, no surprise, I love high-waist pants.
I need to do a sleek ponytail more.
This was so, so insightful for me - something I hadn’t expected to be honest. So thanks again,
and please comment your other suggestions below, too, if you like!
I ADORE this series from you! These articles always give me new ideas.
Thank you for doing Anouk Yve's style! It' so helpful to have this analysis to understand what I like about her style and which elements could be fun to incorporate into my own. I really love the harmony and simplicity of many of her outfits. And like you I want to be better at using different hairstyles as part of a look.
