STYLE NOTES ON: PERNILLE WILBY
If you've run out of street style pictures to stalk of the Moosgaard twins, here's the profile to go to.
I love browsing for books on Amazon without buying anything. I love the ‘if you liked this, you’ll love this’ - section and I love when Instagram does the same thing and the algorithm just leads you to new profiles based on what you like.
If you like the Moosgaard twins, you’ll love Copenhagen-based creator Pernille Wilby. She has a similar aesthetic with a bit more of elegance to it. While the Moosgaard twins’ style is a bit more relaxed, Pernille wears pants more often than denim and has a more refined aesthetic over all. Aside from this, they do have a lot in common.

PERNILLE’S STYLE WORDS
If I had to pick three style words for Pernille, I’d choose polished, minimal and Scandinavian.
Polished - As I have pointed out above, Pernille wears pants rather than denim, has a wardrobe full of muted colors and wears button-down shirts all the time. This gives an elegant, refined look.
Minimal - Pernille’s outfits never include more details than needed, she uses simple silhouettes and classic cuts. I would choose ‘minimal’ as a second word for her.
Scandi - With a lot of her looks, there’s a certain mood to it that you can’t quite put your finger on. There’s an effortless vibe and a natural coolness to it I can only explain with the fact that she lives in Copenhagen.
I looked at Pernille’s profile and tried to get inspiration for some style uniforms I struggle with at the moment:
end-of-winter-outfits
coffee dates

PERNILLE’S INSPIRATION IF YOU GOT TIRED OF YOUR WINTER WARDROBE
If you’ve also run out of ideas for what to wear until March, take notes from these looks: bomberjacket + boots, shearling coats, black and white looks, and a color combination I need to wear more: black + brown!
PERNILLE’S INSPIRATION FOR CHIC COFFEE DATES
I struggle with weekend coffee outfits sometimes. I want to wear something different but still look casual. So I am taking inspiration from these looks:
PERNILLE’S INSPIRATION IF YOU’RE MENTALLY IN SPRING ALREADY
If like me, you’re already mentally in March, you might also love these looks that Pernille wore last year:

I live for your Style Notes Anika, this is such a fantastic series! Would you consider a Style Notes on Denise Nørgaard? If I could just borrow her closet for a year (or five)...
